@classicthings5: Title: 5 Days of Pure Wildlife Engineering: The Forest Floor Leaf Dome Builder! ๐ฒ Caption: Witness nature's ultimate architect at work! ๐ฟ Watch this Ovenbird build its hidden leaf dome over a grueling 5-day period. Day 1: The female clears a circular spot in the thick leaf litter on the forest floor, beside a fallen log. ~Day 2: She weaves the cup base and walls from dead leaves, grass and stems, all with her beak. ~Day 4: The dome arches over, the squat oval side entrance takes shape, and camouflage leaves cover the roof. Day 5: The inner cup is lined with fine fibres and hair, and the bird settles into its finished hidden home. Every single leaf was carried in and woven by the bird's beak. This is 100% pure wildlife engineering. No humans, just the relentless force of nature. Wait for the final settled bird at the end! ๐ #NatureEngineering #WildlifeDocumentary #BirdNest #TimeLapse #Ovenbird classic things one
