Legally after 6 hours you have to have a break - you couldn’t be penalised for taking one as that is one massive pay day in a tribunal if they tried to

This Lump And Me :
I was working a 12 plus hour shift ( 12 finish) I'd had 15 minutes before 6pm when the shift changed. Still had 45 minutes left. All the staff on the 6 start got given breaks before me. All because the manager who was my flatmate was in a mood with me for having my then boyfriend stay over. It got to 9:30 and I just sat down
