I'm an ER RN and one of my F coworkers took a 13 week travel assignment. She worked 3 weeks, got in an MVC and was taken to her own hospital trauma. They did cut her clothes off and she told me she was so embarrassed. She said it was even worse 2 weeks later when she went back to work and had to work with those same coworkers. Plus the trauma PA that was working with the trauma doc at the time she was a trauma alert asked her out a week after she came back to work.

This happened to one of the nurses at my job in the OR she started crying the whole time till it was time for anesthia and as soon as she woke up from anesthia she started crying again and telling everyone to cover there eyes

I worked in the OR at University Utah 2nd shift so we handled anything that came through the ER. Your fear was also my biggest fear. I had a nurse friend and we worked together. She got to hand-pick the people allowed to work her back surgery and she trusted me. I worked there asa scrub nurse for five years

I got in a bull riding accident with an injured groin and surrounding area. Had to have a female dr and female nurse do the exam. So embarrassing being exposed like that.

Yup. Had my last baby at the hospital I work at… only problem was I hemorrhaged, I went unresponsive, blood pressure dropped as I was losing 3 liters of blood and then went DIC and blood started pouring from my gums and out from my IV sites. All from a placenta Abruption during delivery, I was taken to OR for a D&C and woke up in ICU and fought for my life for 4 days, I woke up with the biggest bruise on my chest from them trying to wake me up. I damn near died 😭 I became extremely combative while in ICU so I was restrained… thank goodness my baby was okay. So let that all sink in… they all knew me 🏃♀️

I was in a motorcycle accident in 2011 laying on the side of the road naked. I could here that there were all kinds of people around and one of the ems guys says can we have a blanket so this guy can have some dignity. I'm like it's cold out ladies lol I was in shock I broke over 20 bones and almost lost my leg.
