With everything you said this is why they did not vote for him Alabama voted for hatred, and it is so sad

When I say I feel you with my soul. I was optimistic but surely not surprised. All of it could not be more blatant. My county was blue but it shows what AL in its entirety is about. 🙏🏽🫂

I was looking at the county map and I think if we can flip Shelby & Talladega counties—we can 100% flip the state next time.

I’m part of that blue dot in Madison County but I’m still gutted. I hate it here.

It is so hard to stay positive and enjoy the rest of the wins when this is what we have to deal with here at home.

There is progress, as you said, there was much more blue on our map than normal! As well as keeping 2 Democratic House seats. We’ll get there, look at other Deep South states that are blue after decades one after nearly a century. We will take our small victories and keep going.

It took two cycles for Texas and Georgia to fight for the change it can happen.

Waking up with the news was hard. I don’t see how any public school teacher could vote for this man.

Listen we’re still gerrymandered all to hell and it was STILL this close. TX and GA didn’t flip overnight either. This is hard, but there’s hope. I’m gutted too, but we’ll keep at it.

In previous years I didn’t show up to the polls, which I know isn’t good. But yesterday I did show up. I voted for Jones. I am beyond disheartened and disappointed in our state. But the results from each county show that we are absolutely making progress. There were blue counties that were fully red in past elections. It’s a great start, we can’t lose hope or momentum. 💙

What you said is the reason it’s hard to have hope. The man they elected has so much hate in his heart, he’s going to do so much damage to the state.
