I remember seeing a operator on the 7 watching a whole movie on there phone using the TOD as a phone stand just bc they in CBTC zone doesn’t mean they don’t gotta do anything 😭 long story short at queensboro a TSS waved at him and yelled at him

I did scaffolding in nyc for 25 yrs. I didn’t allow phone calls during working hours. Workers would get mad at me until a guy was fighting with his wife on the phone and he was 60 ft up in the air. Not paying attention he went off the side. Trains are a lot more important

coming into 14th st union sq sb. Made my station stop. I look across to the uptown side. Tss standing right there looking to see what im doing. smh. They are out there. Ntsb was out heavy at borough hall and wall st for 2 weeks straight.

PATH has 360 cameras recording audio and video so that's a no-no over here. Also c/r's allowed to MDC key in here too. Im glad I made my safety stops yesterday because asst chief happened to be in yard, he came to me and good job making safety stops...whew

I work for a freight railroad and tourist railroad and when I’m workin I keep it in my bag if I need to call for emergency I call over the radio to my dispatcher the phone is never the answer when working a train, phones ain’t the answer

I understand it when it's a work phone and the station agent and the cleaner may need to report things to a supervisor not on sight such as for cleaners at night with stations that have scrubber machines having to report the number on the panel on the scrubber machine after the job is done otherwise phone gotta be put away.
