This really hurt me to listen to you having to justify your feelings, hearing and seeing the pain in your face 💔😭 nobody can pass judgement or say what would they do in that situation. So sad women feel the need to attempt to take a grieving down. Unless you’ve gone through this unimaginable loss I don’t think any of us are in a place to pass judgment. Keep raising awareness as you will help so many people in this situation 🙏🏻

as a children's nurse I've had parents not want to see their child after they've passed. and totally understand. I've looked after them the best I could on their behalf, and what an absolute privilege to be able to do so. no one knows how they would feel in that position and to judge a grieving mother is disgraceful.

As a midwife, I see the pain and turmoil the decision as to whether to see and hold these beautiful angel babies causes families😔 It's a decision only they can make and there truly is no right or wrong, it's so personal x

I couldn’t imagine even having to be in a position where you need to make a choice like this. You done what was right for you and you cared and held Jude for the 9 months you carried him and he knows how much you love him 🩵 Nobody knows how they will react in a situation like yours and people should just be thankful they have never been in that position x

As a mother that did exactly the same thing, I hadn’t even found out what I was having but a midwife slipped up and told me I had a girl, I only saw her briefly in the hospital. I still regret not spending more time with her but I had to do what I needed to do at the time to get me through it. She as a woman should know better and understand every one deals with something that bad so differently

To see a mother make a choice to protect herself and not suffer more than she needs to, is a threat to some women. It’s awful to see this applied in the most heartbreaking of situations. I hope she reflects on why she feels this way and what that says about her.
