@bratanmass06: Gregory Isaacs, affectionately known as the Cool Ruler, gave the world some of the finest lovers rock and reggae music ever recorded. But behind that smooth, unforgettable voice was a man who battled serious personal demons for many years. His long struggle with cocaine addiction reportedly took a devastating toll on his physical health.By the 2000s, his deteriorating dental health and changes in his appearance had become noticeable to fans. His lifestyle also affected his health and singing career. In a 2007 interview,Gregory Isaacs reflected on his experience with these powerful words: "Drugs are a debasing weapon. It was the greatest college ever, but the most expensive school fee ever paid – the Cocaine High School. I learnt everything, and now I've put it on the side." Despite his struggles,Gregory Isaacs left behind a musical catalogue that generations will continue to enjoy. His voice, his songs and his contribution to reggae music will never be forgotten. His story also reminds us that fame and talent do not make anyone immune to life's struggles. #GregoryIsaacs #CoolRuler #ReggaeLegend #LoversRock #RootsReggae
