It could be that the water in Florida was harder and you are using the same amount of detergent in CR which is known to be softer so therefore the detergent residue is making them feel less clean.

Totally agree!! Bought one 6 years ago without an agitator and hated it from day one! It just broke and I couldn’t buy an agitator one quick enough!

when putting clothes in, put them in like a donut, leaving the center open, also layer the clothes in that donut shape.

My understanding of a machine without agitator is that you have to pretend there is one and not put any clothes in the center. You have to carefully lay down the pieces in a circular position.You also cannot overload the machine….I have never used one so don’t know what amount would be over filling is, but I would also do small loads.

Load your laundry in a donut shape, they are not made to just dump laundry in or it doesn’t agitate correctly.

Add some water to the tub first so the clothes weigh more, it will add extra water and help get them cleaner! I hated our lg like that one!
