I'd suggest memory cues for markers to show you when something is changing or to end a mix, etc. Leave the hot cues to trigger things

I don’t use hot cues. And I’m not afraid to mix a track I’m not super familiar with from usb to vinyl

Always wounder what they was never used them I might try them I just know the music I play, i listen to every track and know where everything is, if I use them will I have time to play with the eq nobs as if there on fire 😁

Only difference I do is A. 8 bar transition in B. 4 bar in E. mid track 8 bar out F mid track 4 bar out G. 8 bar end out H. 4 bar end out. Then I use C and D to jump between the 1st and 2nd chorus.
