@corriejoubert832: CHANGE IS NEVER EASY… BUT NEITHER IS STAYING WHERE YOU NO LONGER BELONG. 🤍 Nobody really talks about the uncomfortable side of growth. The part where you question yourself. Where excitement and fear exist in the same breath. Where you grieve what you're leaving behind, even when you know it's time to move forward. Because change isn't always about escaping something bad. Sometimes you're leaving something familiar. Something you've poured years of yourself into. Something that once felt right, but no longer feels aligned with the person you're becoming. And that's hard. We become so accustomed to what we know that even when something no longer serves us, the familiarity can feel safer than the unknown. But here's something I've learned… You can be grateful for a chapter and still be ready to close it. You can love the people you're leaving behind and still choose a different path. You can be terrified of what's next and still take that first step. And you can mourn the version of yourself who existed in that chapter while welcoming the woman you're becoming. Growth doesn't always arrive wrapped in confidence and excitement. Sometimes it arrives with shaky hands, sleepless nights, second-guessing, and a quiet voice inside that whispers, "It's time." And sometimes the bravest thing you'll ever do is listen. Not every ending is a failure. Not every goodbye is a loss. Not every new beginning comes with certainty. Sometimes change is simply you finally choosing yourself. So if you're standing at the edge of a new chapter, wondering whether you're making the right decision, remember this: You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to feel fearless. And you certainly don't have to explain your growth to everyone who was comfortable with the old version of you. You just have to trust that the person you've worked so hard to become deserves the opportunity to keep growing. You are allowed to outgrow places, people, roles, and versions of yourself that once felt like home. And maybe, just maybe, what you're walking toward will remind you why you needed the courage to walk away. Here's to the endings that make room for beautiful beginnings. 🌿 Grounded Wellness by Corrie Healing the Mind. Nurturing the Soul.
