@pilgraemmss.peacss: Here’s something I’ve been thinking about this morning The question in my mind is “Why do we sometimes feel embarrassed admitting we don’t know something?” Is it because we’ve grown accustomed to associating knowledge with intelligence and uncertainty with weakness? Let’s think about it. How often have you heard someone confidently explain something they clearly didn’t understand? And how often have you felt tempted to offer an answer yourself rather than simply admitting you weren’t sure? The interesting thing is that being knowledgeable doesn’t mean knowing everything In fact, recognizing the limits of what we know is an important part of learning. Self-awareness means being comfortable enough with ourselves to acknowledge those limits. Emotional intelligence helps us recognize when our desire to appear knowledgeable might be getting in the way of genuine understanding. There’s a certain confidence in being able to say, “I don’t know, but I’d like to find out.” It leaves room for curiosity, conversation, and discovery. Maybe intelligence isn’t just about having answers. It’s also about knowing when we need to ask better questions. If this resonates, stay tuned. Let’s keep becoming—one day, one moment at a time. - With Love 🤍 #SelfAwareness #EmotionalIntelligence #IntellectualHumility #PersonalGrowth #CriticalThinking
