I’m the opposite, I think because of years of alcoholism & casual drugs while everyone my age was building made me have compassion. I see through the illusion of being stuck. With recent success in my field I was thinking about how none of them would ever comprehend the levels of low I used to live, doing surveys for alcohol addiction. When I see stuck people I see the possibility of them changing with a blink of eye like I did.
