Are these Bangkok tourist traps really worth it? 🤔 Honestly, YES! I had a blast doing both. If you’ve been following along for a while you may know by now that ya girl is not a fan of tours 💁🏽‍♀️ I usually rather explore by myself and stay away from large tourist crowds ahaha however, I figured since my mama was visiting - we should do some of the touristy thangs. I wasn’t expecting much of either of these markets because there were a lot of conflicting reviews but they both were super fun and unique ☺️ 🚂 MAEKLONG RAILWAY MARKET The first stop was this famous railway market where the train passes through these stalls. We started off by riding the train there and then getting to explore afterwards. It was a little hectic and freaky but yet a really cool experience to see how fast they take down and set back up their stalls when the train comes and goes. 🚣‍♂️ DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET The floating market was way better than I had originally thought. After reading mixed reviews, I was expecting a ton of noisy motorboats but there were mainly only paddle boats. Plus they regulated how many boats went out at once so it wasn’t overcrowded or overwhelming. Honestly I’d really recommend this one if you had to choose just one! 🇹🇭 However, they’re both pretty close to each other about an hour outside of Bangkok. You can easily book this tour with @GetYourGuide and hit both of them in one day with transportation in and out of the city. #getyourguidecommunity #floatingmarketbangkok #railwaymarket
