@karl.yeh_ai_explorer: Whenever I'm watching AI commercials, I'm sure I'm not alone when I'm thinking they have to come up with way better examples than trip planning and shopping or even building games. For companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google that want to target enterprise and everyday work, why not build more or showcase more around what everyday workers do every week? Things like: - Invoice reconciliation - RFP or proposal requests - contractor supplier quotes - property management financial packages, - manufacturing daily inventory reports Show source documents, what the finished output looks like, but show people making midpoint and final decisions. Maybe it's because this is what we do every day but when I think about useful AI I don't think about making recipes or booking my travel, but rather building financial packages, monthly or annual reporting, or customer product shipping requests. Maybe showcase a controller, an estimator, and an operations manager and how this would somehow have AI actually fit in somebody's workday. This will go a long way toward reducing the capability gap or overhang we've been seeing, where AI capabilities are surpassing what everyday workers are using AI for. People can then understand what information they're putting in, where they're making the decisions and assessments and where AI is making these. Here are a couple of examples How a tool can review one document, extract information and add it to another document. Or show how your tool can go into one system, extract a PDF or Excel, add information or numbers to it, and then upload it to another system. Or do a daily inventory of data from different sources or workbooks, produce a brand-new report, which then is reviewed for discrepancies. If the AI model has some new features and capabilities (like, say, voice, better computer use, or better multitask agent capability), then make the example add these features in. It will show how people can use AI specifically for their jobs by showing a recurring task, where documents and data are coming from, what processes people have to follow, and then someone checking their work. It's a better way to show how to use AI's full capabilities, or more of its capabilities, to everyday workers so they can get the benefits rather than super generic personal uses. If you had the ear of one of these AI labs' marketing folks, what recurring business task would you pitch them that they showcase? #AIForBusiness #aicommercials #aibusiness #aiforwork

Yes - enough with the video games! Unless they are building an epic new security awareness training game.
