@mansard_5: "House of the Dragon" is an HBO fantasy series, a prequel to "Game of Thrones", based on the book by George R. R Martin's "Flame and Blood". The action takes place in Westeros about 170-200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. At this time, the Targaryen's house is at the peak of its strength: the family has many dragons, and the Iron Throne is firmly held in their hands. But the power is gradually collapsing due to intrigues and power struggles within the family itself. The plot is based on the civil war in the Targaryen house, which is called the "Dance of Dragons" (or "Dance of Dragons"). Its reason is the decision of King Viserys I Targaryen to name his daughter Reyenira the heiress. This goes against the traditions according to which the throne should pass to a man. After that, two opposing camps are formed in the kingdom. Reyenira's supporters are known as the "Blacks" - they include, for example, representatives of the Velarion house and people close to the princess. Their opponents are the "Greens": they support the sons of Viserys from their second marriage, primarily Prince Aegon; the Hightower family plays an important role in this party. When Viseris dies, the confrontation goes to an open level: each side declares its candidate king, and a fierce struggle begins. Dragons here are not just a symbol of power, but a real weapon that changes the scale and nature of battles. The series shows how dynastic marriages, betrayals, tough decisions and personal ambitions gradually destroy a once powerful family. In history, much attention is paid to how the pressure of traditions, family expectations and political games affect the fate of the heroes. #fyp #houseofthedragon #teamgreen #alicenthightower #aegontargaryen
