Victims of Kasoa-Winneba Highway dualizatioj demand compensation after 3years of no show🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Kasoa-Winneba Highway Dualization Victims Give Government One-Week Ultimatum Over Delayed Compensation Victims affected by the Kasoa-Winneba Highway dualization project have expressed displeasure over delays in the payment of compensation, giving the government a one-week ultimatum to address their concerns or face a massive demonstration. The affected persons include property owners in Budumburam, Fetteh Kakraba, Breku, Akotsi and surrounding communities, whose shops, houses and other properties were demolished to make way for the road construction project. Others include residents who sustained injuries and suffered property damage as a result of stone blasting activities carried out during the construction works. According to the victims, three years after the commencement of the project, they are yet to receive the compensation due them, despite repeated efforts to secure payment. They have accused the Highway Authorities and the project contractor of neglecting their plight and failing to address their concerns. Speaking at a press conference, the convener of the affected victims said all efforts to engage the relevant authorities and secure their compensation had so far proved unsuccessful. Some of the victims who addressed the media expressed frustration over what they described as prolonged neglect and appealed to the government to intervene urgently. They subsequently issued a one-week ultimatum to the government to ensure that their outstanding compensation is paid, warning that failure to meet their demand would compel them to organise a massive demonstration to press home their concerns.
