@offshorecareer: 💰 Imagine earning $130,000 a year while working just six months offshore and getting the other six months off. That's one of the biggest attractions of working on an offshore oil rig. With a 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotation, you spend two weeks working 12-hour shifts offshore, followed by two full weeks away from work. And while you're on the rig, many of your major expenses are covered. Your accommodation and meals are provided, transportation to and from the installation is covered under your employment arrangement, and some offshore facilities even have gyms, recreational areas and entertainment rooms. But offshore life isn't always easy. You'll work long shifts, deal with challenging weather conditions and spend two weeks away from family and friends. The trade-off? Two full weeks off after every rotation, giving you time to travel, relax and enjoy life outside work. Earnings of $130,000 a year are not guaranteed for every offshore position. Salaries and benefits depend on the role, employer, experience and contract. 🔥 Want to get your first offshore job, even without previous offshore experience?
