@mustaqiim.hijja.a: PROTECT YOUR MARRIAGE. BE MINDFUL OF THE WORDS YOU EXCHANGE WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S SPOUSES! Sometimes, people underestimate how dangerous seemingly innocent conversations can become. A private chat, playful compliments, romantic jokes, emotional confessions or lustful discussions with someone else's husband or wife may appear harmless at first. But slowly, these conversations can open doors to temptation, emotional attachment and even the destruction of marriages. As Muslims, we must remember that marriage is a sacred trust. Someone's husband or wife is not an opportunity to satisfy our desires, loneliness or curiosity. Allah commands believing men and women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. (Quran 24:30–31). Do not allow your tongue, private messages or social media interactions to become a means of damaging another person's marriage. And if you are married, remember that your spouse deserves loyalty, respect and emotional protection. Set boundaries before situations become complicated. Not every conversation deserves your attention. Not every compliment needs a response. Not every private friendship is worth the risk. Fear Allah even when nobody is watching. Respect other people's marriages as you would want yours to be respected. May Allah protect our marriages, purify our hearts, guard our tongues and keep us away from anything that leads to betrayal and fitnah. Ameen. #darasakabaalemaguluka
