Respectfully if you’ve never walked down a hospital corridor, with tears in your eyes, holding your loved ones possessions. Completely numb. After seeing them being placed onto a mortuary stretcher. You don’t know what suffering is.

I will never forget what I felt leave the hospital after taking my Momma off life support. I felt like we were leaving without her, like my brain was in shock and we were leaving her behind. Everything in my heart said she should be walking out with us.

I spoke to her the night before, happiest I’d ever seen her. Next morning, I message her just a question. 10 minutes later, the police knock on my door to tell me she’s been killed. That was my mother that was killed, the woman who was my whole world, killed by someone else’s actions.

oh i know that feeling. and the only thing i.was able leave the hospital with was a keepsake of a loc of my sons hair, heart rate and fingerprints.

I drove 2 hours every morning to sit in that room till the days end just watching him slowly fade away I really had hope that he’d make it despite what everyone was telling me because I thought accepting that he would leave us would demotivate him to fight to stay. He left earlier this year. He wasn’t blood but he was my dad and I miss him.

My 4 year old son was really sick… was rushed to hospital and they said he had a tumor on his liver going all the way through his heart. After his biopsy his body shut down and his heart stopped. They had to rush him into open heart surgery … I walked him to the elevator sobbing and they told me to say goodbye incase he didn’t make it

I couldn’t even be at the hospital, with my girl and I’m still hurting about it,I wish I spent more time with her before she moved to a different state. And it will literally be a year in two days I miss her.

I went to bed with my mom alive and then 8 hours later she was gone. died in her sleep in her own bed. having to be the person to call in her death... was the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life.
