Hell ya! My son has had a job at 18 and now he’s in college and working as a shift lead. Doesn’t pay rent and can live with us as long as he’s working and a student. Period.

It may take him months given the market. I’m in a town of roughly 70,000 outside of a major metro area and it still took me 4 months to find a job, and I was applying literally everywhere. Please be kind to him as long as you have evidence of him genuinely looking for a job and going to the interviews that are presented to him

a seasonal job would be great if he doesn't have any work experience in the first place. i believe some stores in ontario mills are still hiring and possibly even major retailers like target too. as long as he's willing to work on black friday, weekends in december, and holidays like xmas eve and new year's, he should be good. and if he has great work ethic, he might even be asked to stay as a core employee. i started off as seasonal two years ago at bath and body works, after the season ended i applied for other jobs and got offers, but eventually i was asked to stay at bbw and now i'm cashier lead for this holiday season and i just got a second part time job.
