election maps should be based on shapes, and population.
you start from one corner of the map and drag out a square, when it reaches 100,000 population? or an agreed upon number, then you start a new square or rectangle next to that one, when you reach the edge of the state, you start row 2, and you continue. This way, a square or a circle decides district lines based on population, based on a uniform stat, and districts aren't drawn to give one group a strong hold , or divide power from another. this way, districting isn't based on your savings, your genetics, what type of house you live in, or what side of the train tracks you live on. it doesn't diminish anyone's vote and it doesn't put anyones vote in state and regional elections above anyone elses.
but when you allow people, people with an agenda for that doesn't put everyone forward and fairly, to create discord for voting it just becomes greedy and not for the people.
