@squeakysketches: One of my most recent paintings This little guy was not going to be a splatter style, but I wasn’t loving the colors so I ended up deciding to add a layer white splatter to lighten it up a bit, then added a bit more of a neutral brown (also splattered) to make sure he wasn’t too washed out. I also used a much brighter green than I normally would for the background; usually for mountain scenery and wildlife I use more muted and sage-y colors for the backgrounds, so this very vibrant green was a lot of fun. Just a reminder, November 14th I will be at @CitiWerks Cafe & Coworking for ArtWalk from 9am to noon. Be sure to stop by and check out this guy in person, and my other work. I will also have prints of many paintings available. 🎨🖌️ Paints : @ARTEZA Watercolor Pans + Cate Paper Co Orange travel tin (the bright green came from there! :)) - #Watercolor #Pronghorn #WyomingWildlife #WildlifePainting #Hunting
