1. Your first thought is always what you could have done better. You could get a promotion or even achieve something you've worked towards for years, and your mind immediately goes to what you got wrong or should have done sooner. 2. You feel more relief than happiness when you succeed. Instead of feeling proud, you're just relieved you didn't mess it up. You've spent so long worrying about falling short that achieving something feels more like escaping a sort of failure. 3. You immediately downplay anything you've achieved. When someone congratulates you, you tell them it's not a big deal or anyone could have done it. You really struggle to give yourself credit, even when you've worked incredibly hard. 4. The moment you achieve something, it stops feeling impressive. Something you once desperately wanted suddenly feels like the bare minimum. You're already thinking about the next thing you need to accomplish before you'll finally feel good enough. 5. You feel guilty enjoying yourself when there's still more you could be doing. Even after working incredibly hard, you struggle to relax or celebrate. There's always a feeling that you should be doing something more productive, as though you've never quite earned the right to rest. You deserve to feel proud of how far you've come, even if you were taught to only notice how far you still had to go. If this is something you struggle with, I offer online therapy for women who struggle with feeling secure in themselves and in their relationship. You can book a session through the link in my bio. #selfworth #HealingJourney #selfesteem #MentalHealth #mindsetshift
