@insideedition: When first responders came to rescue Alex Dale, his wife and 11 guests in Sedona, Arizona, Dale said he absolutely would not leave without his beloved 2-year-old mutt, Jackson. Other dogs were being airlifted to safety, but in Jackson's case, rescuers did not have a canine harness, so Dale improvised. He says he used a harness and strapped his dog to him and it worked.
