@tagspire: Just added a dynamic day/night cycle to Tagspire, my custom-built 2D platformer engine! ☀️ Sunlight changes direction throughout the day 🌳 Trees and objects cast moving shadows 🌅 Smooth transitions from sunrise to sunset 🌙 Nighttime brings darkness, with torches and flashlights lighting the way 🌲 Soft shadows make forests feel much more atmospheric Everything runs in real time, including the directional sunlight and shadows. Still a work in progress, but the world is starting to feel alive!
