This whole nightmare has been very traumatic for the kids too young to vote in the last election. They've seen their classmates and their families hurt and scared, some of them have been directly hurt themselves. I imagine part of this shift is those older teens who can now vote. My little brother doesn't turn 18 until the end of the month but he and his friend group are so empathetic and kind. I'm really proud of these young men for thinking critically and caring for others.
