@tanganyikawildlifepark: Eye drops? No problem when you’re a trained professional! Our bat-eared foxes sometimes experience allergies that require eye drops, and that’s where this training comes in! Through a behavior called anchor stationing, they’ve learned to voluntarily move into position and stay there while our keepers administer their eye drops. This makes routine care easier, less stressful, and most importantly, gives our foxes the choice to participate! It’s just one of the many ways positive reinforcement training helps us provide the best possible care for our animals. #batearedfox #fox #kansas https://twpark.com
