Prada’s Holiday 2026 campaign, “Drawing Prada,” brings the charm of traditional animation into a world of fashion and winter fantasy. Subtitled “Animated by Hand,” the campaign takes inspiration from classic Hollywood and winter fairy tales, combining live-action scenes with hand-drawn landscapes and expressive animal characters. Behind the illustrated worlds is a team of artists led by animation director John Pomeroy, whose work has contributed to major animated productions over the past five decades. Their drawings create the settings and characters that give the campaign its playful spirit, placing its protagonists inside scenes that recall the wonder of childhood storybooks. Glen Luchford’s photography brings these imagined worlds into close conversation with reality. The Friends Network, a support group backing the governorship ambition of Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on Wednesday intensified its grassroots mobilisation across communities in Abeokuta, Ogun State, with a call on residents to support the senator in the 2027 governorship election. The delegation, led by former Ogun State governorship aspirant Hon. Kayode Tejuoso, son of the Osile of Oke Ona, Oba Dr. Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, visited several Community Development Councils (CDCs) and Community Development Associations (CDAs)in Abeokuta North Local Government to engage residents and identify their most pressing developmental needs.
