What’s considered a late bedtime? My almost three year old wakes anywhere from 6-7:30am and then naps usually 1.5-2 hours and goes to sleep for bed around 9/9:15pm. We’ve been told that’s a normal bedtime for a toddler. Should we drop the nap and do an early bedtime or just lower the nap amount and do a slightly earlier bedtime?

Would this be the case for my 20 month old please? Recently dropped him from 60 to 45 mins nap to see if that helps as he’s doing exactly what you say (early wakes)

So what is exactly the difference between having 2x 1 hour naps vs 1x 2 hour nap? That is one thing I don't understand when people talk about dropping a nap because toddler needs less daytime sleep... but daytime sleep stays the same amount of hours just in less amount of naps?
