He needs to understand that this is a team, not his personal project.” Reporter: “You also told him to watch his mouth when speaking to you. Do you feel he’s not respecting your position as captain?” 🗣️ Vinícius Júnior: “Absolutely. I told him to watch his mouth because I’m the captain, and that doesn’t mean I’m above anybody, but it also doesn’t mean he can speak to me anyhow. Then he started bringing Diomande into the conversation, saying his impact has been much better and that I need to fix myself or stay away from the team. That’s where I completely lost my patience. Nobody is bigger than Real Madrid. Not me, not Mbappé, nobody! If he has a problem with my performances, he can speak to me, but he needs to stop acting like the entire team revolves around him.
