It’s definitedly not a thing in Italy. Plus even a simple birthday cake is soo expensive and soft it would get ruined and nobody would get cake, including me. I don’t care about the hair and make up thing but you ruin my birthday cake on purpose, you better run.

honestly, after the blow the candles and then everyone got a slice, I'd put a little icing on my finger, ask the celebrant if they approve, put some on their nose and they'd put some on mine. it's a way cuter video/picture
