Jesus was separated from the Father for 3hrs so that He can bare our sins, as the Father and sin can't be in one.. It heartbreaking for what He did for us and we still ungrateful.

I think what I hear is a warning. God has never left any human being except Jesus. And what that tells me about the pain of being separated from God, is that it is not anything we humans can bare. that is the reality of hell, people fear the fire, the worst part will be being permanently separated from the life source.
