Then call up who? You’ll be complaining if Rafa calls up Chiquito Sanchez , Romo, or Charly Rodriguez too. Make up your mind, Mexico isn’t a national team with an abundance of talent, if you have a player consistently exposed to the Atletico Madrid level - you have to call them up even if they’re not playing. I’d even argue that training with Atletico has more value than playing in liga mx.

There are plentiful national teams that call up their players who play few club minutes.. they know their quality. Obed got to a top EU for a reason. I say we call the best players we have, they’re already scarce. Who do we call, Charly? Worse players than him from Liga MX?
