It has been going over 175 years. 🍗 Skip’s on West Ridge has been a butcher since 1946 and its fresh turkeys are pre-order only, with pickup running November 23 to 25. 🐄 Mumford Dairy and Meat is the outlier, a working farm in Wheatland whose shop trades Sundays noon until three and nothing else, selling beef raised there. Two more worth knowing: 🕯️ Swan Market on Parsells Avenue is a German deli of eighty years, Wednesday to Saturday, smoking its own sausage. 🇮🇹 Rubino’s on East Ridge has been going since 1958 and makes Italian sausage fresh daily in over fourteen varieties. Before you drive: Skip’s says plainly that it is not taking online orders and you have to ring, even though another part of the same page links a web shop. And nobody in this market has published an actual order cutoff date, so treat the pickup window as the deadline.
