Bro the litteral way to kill a tank in tank combat is to explode the ammnunition , the chance in any tank that they shoot the back of the turret instead of the body is very low and tanks usually have blow out pannels only in the turret. turret tossing happens when ammo stored in the tanks body explodes and the turret is light enough to fly off. Its just Ammo cook off but a bit stronger. It happens to moust tanks and also yes Abrahams has a better crew protection than the T series but many western tanks dont have that same protection and have survavibility similiar to the T series

I'd say the best tank when it comes to crew survivability and statistics wise is probably the challenger series , followed by the Abrams series and Leopard series

Did you forget the challenger 2 ? It has worse ammo placement then the t72 and t90m actually way worse then the t90m
