I've though of the same question and search for this old man he said' The verse relates to Asmaul Husna, it is not regarding names of things that will be found on the earth which Adam as is yet to know that he pbuh will be send down to and live as khalifah. So, Adam remember well of the names of Almighty Rabb, these Exalted Names that will be the guidance to mankind and all knowledge will be derived from it. This include Asmaul Adzhom'. So son, he added, to have knowledge, learn from those learned in the ilmu of Asmaul Husna and Adzhom' such as the 20 attributes of Almighty Rabb which is the coriculum of Sunni sect which is concencus accepted by all well known theologians and scholars, so, inshaa Allah'. only then I know. I've asked earlier from random old people regarding these verse and they reply this relates to Allah swt teaching name of things that Adam pbuh will have to know such as cooking utensils, pen etc, which doesn't go well with me. However, I follow those learned teaching Asmaul Husna and Adzhom' and its knowledge or ilmu in which the study has no end, still more and more which relates to our Aqidah and Iman and most importantly to know who is Almighty Rabb and only then we knows that there is no will except the will of Allah (Asmaul Adzhom' ). tq admin, may Almighty Rabb guides us all until the end. just sharing, may it be of guidance, to those who have disease in their heart, study Asmaul Husna to those old learned, so that may Allah swt cure the disease.
