the baby was too young to be vaccinated. herd immunity is supposed to protect those who are too vulnerable for vaccinations. when you choose not to vaccinate yourself or older children, you are putting babies and other vulnerable populations at risk.

This was an Amish 7 month old baby and the cause of death was not determined to be related to measles yet. All the details matter. Amish are not regulated to get vaccines due to religious exemptions.

This is why we depend on those who can be vaccinated to do so. Herd immunity!!!!!! Shame on these parents whose kids can be vaxxed and their parents CHOOSE not to.
