I can’t wait to go see Godzilla Minus Zero in theaters and next year I’ll also be seated for Godzilla x Kong Supernova

Rossi Reviews… :

Overwhelmed by 2026 is so real! We will be talking about this year in cinema for a very long time.

Jon Johns 🆘🇺🇸 :

I wanted to stand up and cheer! But... recliner seats... 🤷‍♂️😂

STEVE FLORES :

Ok What really makes these films work,is that Takashi Yamazaki and Kazuaki Kishida put a lot of emphasis on quality over quantity,so that the action and fights scenes do not merely turn into just silly spectacles that overstay their welcome,as they are focusing just as much on the quieter moments with the character developments to build up the stakes,so that audiences can become invested with and care about the characters who’s lives have been affected by the Kaiju and WWII. It was just as good,if not, better than the first. The special effects look dirty and real. This installment is a lot darker in tone,so you really see why it got it’s R rating. Another element that I thought made the story seamlessly flow together and bring out the tension, was the score, omg the score. And yes,by any means possible, watch it on IMAX to feel the goosebumps and lean forward in your seat when you hear the score and the roar of the kaiju. 4 out 5 on Letterbxd is how I would rate it.

lucasfore :

Genuinely way too many 4-5 star movies coming out this year man

This is the year of the third act I swear, every 5 star movie of the year (for me) has an insanely peak third act (The Odyssey, this and The Bone Temple)
