it's okay I can blow bubbles through my eyes like if I plug my nose and breathe out air comes out of my eyeballs it's great. unfortunate side effect from jaw surgery

It's so so so important that immediately after they repair this that you do not cover your mouth to sneeze or cough. Instead just let it out while holding your hand loosely over your mouth. Covering your mouth and/or nose during a sneeze can spike the pressure in your sinus so much that it can reopen the the hole.

Don’t let them pull your cheek over to fix it. I had this happen earlier this year and the first fix wasn’t secure enough so he said “oh well just move part of your cheek over” and I didn’t know any better. It’s been 11 months and it still feels awful and affected my smile.

I had this issue. Tooth removed and it never healed. Took three surgeries. They grafted skin from the roof of my mouth twice and once from my cheek. It was complicated because I had an infection in the affected sinus. I lost a lot of weight from not being able to eat.
