Another important reality about relocation is understanding that you are starting all over again. Starting over means being humble enough to accept opportunities that may not match your previous status or professional experience. Sometimes, you have to take whatever decent job is available, gain Canadian work experience, understand the system, build connections, and gradually work your way into better opportunities. You cannot relocate expecting everything to fall into place immediately. Your previous achievements and professional status may not automatically translate into the same opportunities abroad. Be willing to start somewhere, learn, adapt, and grow.
