🚨Buddy needs safe exit from the shelter in Los Angeles by 11/6 or he will be euthanized the following morning 💔 Buddy arrived at North Central after LAPD dispatch called for a dog pickup when the owner was being arrested. On arrival, the officer stated that Buddy was friendly, loose-bodied, sat and allowed pets & scratches all over 💗 Back at the shelter Buddy remained happy & wiggly with the officer who picked him up❣️ A microchip was discovered but it belonged to a different person than the one who was arrested. So the shelter called and sent a letter to the owner on the microchip. All went unanswered 😔 Buddy was held on a personal property hold that lasted 60 days – nobody ever came for him💔 After enduring all of that, Buddy is now at risk of losing his life. He was weary at first with medical staff and handling but out in his very first playgroup he made friends with the dog playgroup team and he quickly gained trust and was affectionate with everyone he met. They even called him "sweet" 💕 He'll roll over on his back for a belly rub and wiggle his hind end for a butt scratching. With dogs he's lower energy, gentle & dainty, appropriate and mingling. While out in the yard one day he showed signs of possessiveness and resource guarding with toys. So an experienced, adults only home is preferred for Buddy. We think this belly-rubs lovin' boy deserves the chance to find his right person. Sadly, he doesn't have much time to do it. Buddy has just 72 hours left before he is euthanized❣️ Please help to get him into safe hands before it's too late. #dog #shelterdog #rescuedog #adoptdontshop #fyp How to help Buddy: ✔️ VISIT NORTH CENTRAL to meet Buddy ✔️ Offer to FOSTER.
