You get that gorgeous texture, but alternating the rows creates a softer, less dense fabric. And it’s much easier than it looks. 🧶 MINI PATTERN — follow along with the video Start with a foundation chain in any even number. ROW 1 — Trinity Stitch Start with: 🇬🇧 Double crochet 🇺🇸 Single crochet Then: • Insert your hook back into the same stitch and pull up a loop • Pull up another loop from each of the next 2 stitches • You’ll now have 4 loops on your hook • Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops • Chain 1 Repeat across the row, starting each new cluster in the last stitch you worked into. At the end, pull through your final 4 loops and finish with: 🇬🇧 Double crochet 🇺🇸 Single crochet ROW 2 Work across the whole row in: 🇬🇧 Half treble crochet 🇺🇸 Half double crochet Then simply repeat Rows 1 and 2. ✨ And can we talk about this yarn? 😍 I’m using Stylecraft Bellissima Chunky with my Clover Soft Touch hook, and honestly, they are an absolute dream together. Bellissima is so beautifully soft to work with. It has all the warmth and fullness you want from a chunky yarn, but it still has this lovely flexibility and drape. There’s an almost silky sheen to it - it just glides over your hook, and I love that it doesn’t pill. And the colours… 🍂❤️ They are absolutely delicious.
