For instance, if a character in the book is painting, provide your students with paintbrushes and encourage them to demonstrate how it’s done. In the video, a character from the book was juggling, so I gave my students giant pom poms to practice. 💫 Encourage your students to act out the actions of the characters in the story. For instance, if a character is flying, they can pretend to soar through the air. If someone is searching for something, they can pretend to look around. In the video provided, a character dove into the water, so I had the children mimic the diving motion. 💫 Utilize choral responding! For a video example of this, comment SPRING.
