Gov. runs the Senate, picks committee chairs and decides which bills get a vote. If this goes through, it's PURE SURVIVAL MODE for Texas until they can win it back. We cannot lose Texas. I guess the question becomes: risk angering voters but do it now, far before the next election, or just let Dems destroy Texas with sanctuary policies and try to fix it later? Really hard place to be.
