Claiming Holyfield beat Mike Tyson in his prime is historically inaccurate. Tyson’s prime was roughly 1986 through 1989, when he was at his physical and technical peak. Holyfield didn’t fight him until November 1996, seven years after that period, following Tyson’s three year imprisonment and a significant decline in the defensive movement, combinations, and discipline that made him so dangerous. Holyfield deserves full credit for beating Tyson, but beating a 30 year old Tyson in 1996 isn’t the same as beating the 22 year old version who dominated the heavyweight division in 1988. That doesn’t automatically mean prime Tyson would have won. It means we never saw that matchup, and pretending otherwise is rewriting boxing history.

BFS! Tyson was past his prime and not only that Hollyfield constantly head butted him. If Holyfield would have fault a straight up fight Tyson would’ve won the first fight nor would have Tyson bit he’s ear off in the second.

The people was too blind Holyfield headbutt Tyson half of the time I don't blame him for biting Holyfield s ear. When you can't beat then you headbutt to win even the referee is blind too.
