@cbsla: Rep. Jimmy Gomez, whom the House Ethics Committee is investigating on allegations of sexual misconduct, will lose his seat to another Democrat, CBS News projects. Angela Gonzales-Torres, a self-described Democratic Socialist, has been elected to the seat in California's 34th Congressional District, which represents parts of East Los Angeles, including her native Highland Park. As of Wednesday, she gained about 59% of the vote in the race against Gomez.
