Love and companionship i consider to be a basic human need. To deny someone that right for the pursuit of holiness and purity I think is faulty thinking. Why can’t they have love and companionship and still pursue their own personal holiness and purity that makes them feel whole. If you feel empty and depressed in the pursuit of holiness and purity, then is it really worth it? For some maybe but I think the individual needs to follow their heart on that.
