Favreau really doesn't get enough credit for his contributions to the MCU. he basically started it

It's so funny for me how people act like the MCU was milimetrically calculated since the begging, when the whole phase 1 was a constant "let's hope and pray to God that all of this will actually work in the end"

Iron and 08 Hulk always felt different but in a good way than the rest of the MCU. Before all the comedy every other scene

I know it’s probably just nostalgia for a time before the MCU got so convoluted and mixed quality and just, ya know, that time period when I was still young… but man the original Iron Man did something I’d never seen before

That makes sense why Pepper is always so stressed/nervous in the movie. All the improv probably made Gwyneth stressed, which in turn added a lot more character to Pepper, probably inadvertently making her performance better.

RDJ claimed that role, made it his, and now he is the only Iron Man. so glad it was him.

grew up in the late 70s - early 80s with Iron Man comics.. went to see this opening night not expecting much. really enjoyed the movie, but was blown away with the " I AM Iron Man" line. so good.
