@tawny_girl: Another flight through the woods with Freddie from a few weeks ago, including some slow mo’s! 🥰 Trying to introduce some slightly more difficult flights that require him weaving around things rather than flying in a direct line, and calling him to stumps rather than just the fencing that he’s been used to. He’s starting to build confidence with flights that have twigs/leaves on the route and figuring out how to fly over, around or through them which might sound basic for a woodland owl but is something Freddie has never actually done before! In one flight you see him do an impromptu landing half way because he suddenly lost confidence in flying between the branches near to me, so makes a brief stop to reassess his route before committing to it. There’s lots of thinking that goes behind every flight for him due to his inexperience flying in a woodland habitat. There’s already such a big improvement since this video was taken a few weeks back! #tawnyowl #owltok #owlsoftiktok #birdofprey #owl
