@jks_fit: Single leg RDL progressions from your Physical Therapist 🏋️♀️ I love incorporating single-leg RDLs into my patients’ programs to improve strength, stability, and balance, especially when working toward returning to recreational sports, running, or any activity that requires single-leg control. Here are a few key takeaways to keep in mind when performing this exercise:👍 1️⃣ Maintain a soft bend in your knee Avoid locking out your standing leg. Keep a slight bend in your knee while maintaining control throughout the movement. 2️⃣ Hinge from your hips Think about pushing your hips backward as your upper body lowers. You should primarily feel this in your glutes and hamstrings rather than your lower back. 3️⃣ Focus on balance and control Move slowly and intentionally. Avoid rotating your hips or allowing your pelvis to open up as you hinge forward. • • #physicaltherapy #physicaltherapytips #singlelegrdl #injuryprevention
Do this again and include the front view so we can see your foot placement to see how the weight should be properly supported. These are hard for me on my leg which has restricted Internal rotation despite doing exercises to increase mobility in that scenario.
